Accessing HIV medical care is an important part of living with HIV. Primary HIV care helps you manage your HIV infection as well as monitor your viral levels (viral load testing) and immune system (CD4 or T-Cell counts). Having regular access to care means being healthier, preventing other infections from making you sick, and helps reduce the chances you may transmit HIV to others.
