Peer Perspectives

Sometimes it can be daunting trying to navigate questions about insurance and what medical, mental health and chemical health services are covered by which plans... It is also sometimes difficult trying to decode the DHS/HH/MA/GAMC alphabet soup of coverage resources! We've got answers, and we're happy to help.

Program HH :: One of many applications CAPS can help with!If you don't have insurance, CAPS can assess your financial eligibility and help you apply to the insurance program that best fits your needs. Staff supply applications, assist with answering tricky questions on forms, and can help by faxing materials or making phone calls to other agencies at your request.

CAPS staff can also connect you with free primary HIV care through Ryan White Early Intervention Services right here at the Hennepin County Public Health Clinic if you don't have health insurance.

Referrals to medical providers, insurance, and assistance programs are available by phone or by appointment. To schedule an appointment, email us or call the CAPS Program at 612-348-3307.
